Blue Bottle Fly Larvae Keep refrigerated unless you want to pupiate into a fly. Keep in the crisper of your refridgerator.Spikes will pupate into a Blue Bottle fly; Some will be chrysalis form during shipment. Adult flies are between 10 to 11mm long. Only use dry, whitish colored spikes, avoid any that look soggy or dark. 20% protein and only 6% fat. Larvae are 3/8" to 1/2" in length. Good feeder for larger amphibians, reptiles, birds, fish. Use the eyes of your pet for reference, always make sure prey is smaller than the width between your pets eyes as a size reference to avoid choking.
