Using "Fly Clean" you dust flies from fresh cultures that you then use to seed new fruit fly cultures to kill mites, "Fly Clean" used in this manner will not kill flies. Once flies are added to a fresh culture they will be able to remove the powder.

Place feeder cultures in a bin with Bug defense and place several mm deep of the powder at the bottom of the bin. Set cultures on top of this powder to prevent any mites from crawling into cultures, out of cultures or spreading from one to one another. Essential for fruit fly cultures as mites bloom and spread after a culture reached 30 days old.
